How does LUST kill?

I heard this from a great person I respect on how lust will kill us in the midst of our own enjoyment without us realizing it. This topic will be uncomfortable for some of us, but we need to set our heart on right things to enjoy the fullest of life.

My friend related lust to how the Eskimos killed wolves in the cold regions. Firstly, the hunters would dip a hunting knife into a pail of blood. They would then let the blood freeze on the knife and later deep the knife back into the blood to create another layer of blood on the knife. They would repeat the process until the layer of blood covers the dangerous looking knife makingthe hunting knife into an attractive smelling blood ice-cream.

Then, the hunters would poke the blood ice-cream into the snow leaving the attractive red part sticking out and contrasting with the white snow while the hunters themselves would find a place to hide. Moments later, the wolf would be attracted to the smell of the blood and would go over to the blood ice-cream. The wolf would have a first lick on the ice-cream and would obviously want more with such high 'marginal utility' for more blood ( I got to thank Miss Jesrina for teaching me that term). Hence, the wolf would continue to lick the blood until the layer of blood gradually gets thinner and closer to the blade of the knife.

After the wolf has finished licking off the blood on the knife, the wolf would continue to lick the knife to enjoy more blood without realizing that the wolf is drinking it's own blood by cutting it's own tongue by the blades of the hunting knife. As time passes, the wolf would feel weak as the wolf has lost a great deal of blood and would finally drop to the snow. The hunter would then come out from his hiding place and with one stab on the wolf with a spear, the wolf would die.

That is how lust would kill us, it kills us in our own enticement and enjoyment and our nature of wanting more. Please beware of the dangers of lust as it will kill us without us realizing.
