11, Chaffey Common, Northgate, 5085, SA (part 1)

By this coming Friday, it would be my 3rd month here in Adelaide. Time sure does fly...

By next Saturday, I would be moving out from my current place to stay in a new place. This post is a tribute to my memories that I have here..11, Chaffey Common. I really like this place..the only set back to this place is that it is far from the city (by far i mean an average of 35 minutes from my current house to the city). My new place would be nearer to the city ( an average of 20 minutes to uni). Haha. I'm quite worried about moving into my new place as I don't really know my new housemates very well. All that i know is that one of the is from Kuching (YEAA MANN!!*insularity coming back*) and my second new housemate is Poh Hui's junior.

Ok oK..let's not side track ya. Let me finish story telling about my place here. Im staying with 2 young working adults! My landlord, house-owner, and boss...is a PEnaNG-ITE!!!!! But he is no where close to Wei Song or Ginger's attitude. He doesn't kacau me as bad as those 2 la. Haha. He's a fun and very practical and on-time kinda person. On second thought...mayb not so fun la. He just got engaged with my help (=p *it's true as i helped him buy roast pork as a proposal gift to his fiancee.) haha. My second housemate is Joel D' Sa. He's an indian....FROM DUBAI!!! (0.o) But i guess he broke my stereotype of dubai-ians as i thought most ppl in dubai would be super duper rich! But he's a modest and great housematie. He thought me lot's of stuff like..breakfast in Australia is call 'brekky' and Woolsworth in Australia is called 'Woolies' by the Adelaidians ( haha...im nt sure if i should call them like that...but it is sure better than calling them ang mo ppl). Oh ya..i noticed i haven't told you all nama boss saya. He's name is Yong Kah Wai.

Here are some pictures of them during my birthday celebration here in Adelaide.
(Elaine Kah Wai's fiancee and Kah Wai)
                                          Joel, me and Kah Wai!

Well, obviously we cant leave out the crazy part right? Hehehe.

My birthday cake was a marble cheesecake from a shop called the Cheesecake house. And it's made by a japanese!! Tapi tak ade ape yang special pun...correct me if some of u agree Japanese cheesecakes taste nicer.

Northgate is a nice place in which there are lakes and parks around. Ducks waddling around the ponds with beautiful scenery and sculptures. Oh yea, I forgot that Northgate parks have the exercise things which are soo cool!!(Or at least it's cool to me la. Haha. Below would be some nice sceneries around my place. Also notice how much my photography skills have improved!! =D

This lake is just a 2minutes walk from my place. A warm and emotional atmosphere.

There are 3 lakes in my suburb with duckies everywhere. It's amazing how civilized Australians are that they don't catch the ducks to steam or stew them as what we asians would do if we were to see a duck that doesn't belong to anyone. just a side note, the house behind that sculpture isn't my house k? Hehe. My house is a terrace house along Chaffey Common.

                              AAHHH..there is it..magnificent isn't if. Let's take a closer look at house number 11..
Aiya...ada pokok...tak bagus tak bagus...but credits for the great photography

And my favourite couch with a leg rest!! Ideal when watching tv programmes like 'Masterchef' or 'Top Gear' or 'Australia's got Talent' and many more!! Let me show you why i enjoy watching tv....It's because.....

KAH WAI'S GOT A 45" LCD TV WITH BOOMING LOGITECH WOOFERS!! The experience is even better than my house is Kuching man!! Maybe it seems normal for most of you who has flat screen tv's back home in Malaysia...but for me....i dont have ma...i'm from SaRaWak...so called the place where people live on trees. Hehehe. Just if any of you are wondering what is that box below the table top..it's the rice i share with Joel. That box can hold 10kg of rice. Hehe. this kitchen is quite nice lor..I quite like it..but i have to clean up everytime i cook la..if nt kah wai mengamuk. (*^*$#@%#&)

That's my house washing machine. It's something like the centrepoint one la..just that i no need to insert coins. haha. Although I'm in Adelaide...I STILL USE DYNAMO TO WASH MY CLOTHES!!!
         Gunalah dynamountuk cucian yang hebat!

So after i wash my clothes...i hang it in the garden la..
That's the clothes line behing and the garage behind my house. Too bad i don't have a car here...boo hoo hoo...
